ProVelo.lu has officially launched the Cycle Friendly Employer (CFE) certification in Luxembourg, an exciting new initiative aimed at encouraging businesses to support cycling as a sustainable, eco-friendly, and healthy transportation option for their employees. This certification represents a significant step towards reducing the environmental impact of commuting, improving employee well-being, and fostering a green, active workplace culture.

The Cycle Friendly Employer (CFE) certification scheme was developed to establish a European standard for cycle friendly companies in 2017. The certification – awarded in 16 European countries including Luxembourg – is intended to help European companies to improve the situation for employees that cycle to work.

CFE certification is a three-step process that begins with a self-assessment by the company and culminates (with a bit of luck) in receiving one of the three categories of the CFE label (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
